So, I wanted to see the chunk borders in my creative world, but when I did the function (F3 + G), nothing happened, even though in the chat it claims it did it. I also tried this with a lot of the other debug options, and none of them work (except F3 + Q, which shows all of the debug options).
Also, before this even happened, the F3 command that clears your chat never did anything either. Tho I think that was "removed" in an update, but the command on the list wasn't? idk.
Help plz
Also i cant upload any screenshots cause it keeps saying theres a "missing token". Whatever that means.

OK. Can you give me the following information about your keyboard?
What type of keyboard is it?
What is the physical keyboard layout (e.g. qwerty, dvorak, etc)?
What is the OS keyboard layout?
Do you have an FN key?
If so, is it required that you press FN+F3, or is just F3 legal? What about FN+SHIFT+F3/SHIFT+F3?
And, I guess one other thing:
F3+H normally toggles detailed item name descriptions (e.g. tool durability for damaged tools). Does that shortcut toggle them properly, and is anything put into chat? (You already partially answered this, but I want to make sure).
If they're still off, try closing the game, opening .minecraft/options.txt with a text editor, and setting advancedItemTooltips
to true (if the option isn't present, add it on a new line). Are they visible then? (note that no such option exists for chunk borders, but this is still useful as a test case)
I have a Laptop, so I have to do Control + F3 + (H or C or whatever). So I have to do Ctrl + F3 + C in order to crash the game. But I held down all 3 of those keys for nearly 30 seconds, and nothing happened. BUT, i did this in a freshly generated single player world, cause I didnt want to crash my creative world and risk corrupting anything.
Also, as a sidenote, because I have to do Control, then F3, it actually causes the narrator AND hitboxes to be activated whenever I do Control + F3 + B, so that may be something that needs to be fixed.
Please try to force a crash report by holding F3+C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (
[minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/guides/finding-minecraft-data-folder]
) here. If the game does not crash, then post a comment saying that instead. This is an occasional issue with JIRA; try uploading again.
That command does still exist, but for somewhat obvious reasons it doesn't put a message into the chat.
