Game crashes when launched with enlarged window

When Launched from the newer launcher with a larger resolution setting (1920x1080), the game will immediately crash.

This was found at the end of launcher_log

This issue has only started since 17w43a, as 1.12.2 works fine with the launched resolution settings.
