[MC-121573] Redstone wiring problems

I have discovered that if I try to run a redstone current off of an observer block (with the redstone line running off of the side of the observer) the redstone that was run off the side of the observer is unpowered while the redstone on top of the observer block is powered

Works as intended. Observers are transparent blocks (you can't send power through them), and redstone on top of transparent blocks has this property (same thing with upper slabs/stairs and glowstone). See MC-4118

I never knew that observers were transparent. Even if this isn't a bug, thanks for the info.

No worries 😛 (I didn't know that was the case myself until I checked it just now, but I recognized the behavior as that of transparent blocks)
