What I suppose it will do: display the title and those buttons
What it did: show a grey window and display that minecraft has been crashed.

MC-7174 is fixed for the next upcoming Minecraft release, just wait a few days for it.
Duplicate of MC-7174 (different OS and different graphics card, but same cause)
