as you are able to see by the pic i have weird texture glitches,but i made my minecrtaft 1.4.7 and it was all fine and i am not really sure whats going on, i have tried it without a texture pack it still happens and toke all my mods out that use as well,so i am not really why its doing this for 1.5 and it happens for both survival and creative of course and its really bad in a cave or in the dark it seems and as you can seems to happening on certain textures as well
