[MC-12285] Empty map. Version 1.5

The map is called empty map when I right click it shows me the whole map filled in.I have now lost my house as I do to know where I have traveled.
Steps to reproduce go on survival create a map right click.

MC-1404 Crafted Map (item) fills itself in when created. Does not center on player. (player was near the edge of mapped zone) Goes blank after being placed in a chest. Resolved

Not a bug, that is how maps are working: you create an empty map, go to desired map center and right-click to start filling. By default maps have 1:1 scale, but you can change it by crafting empty map with paper. More info:
