ghost mobs, impossible fight

i was fighting a skeleton /wither skeleton and it kills me, i respawn and mob that killed me was invisible, weapons and all hit-box also invisible. the set mob could still attack me even if i couldn't find it.
the mob will also not appear visible again until that same mob kills me again
