Minecraft does not play sound under certain conditions. Sometimes if I leave Minecraft, open a different app, close that app, and enter Minecraft again it won't play sound. Sometimes the sound doesn't play after I turn on the computer. The only current way I know to fix the problem is to restart my laptop and the sound does turn on.
