bud piston are very annoying
please make a bud block
i have not experienced them myself but.. i know this

Quasiconnectivity is intended behavior as per MC-108. There actually already is the observer (which detects updates), but quasiconnectivity is useful for other purposes. There is another issue (MC-11193) related to it which does cause pistons to get stuck on, but that is a valid issue.
