While flying and holding space, while hitting a block with your head, then clicking shift(while still holding space) you can get your head deeper into the block (your Y coordinate will get higher by 0.15).
Environment
Windows 10 64 bit, I can't find java on my computer so I cannot check the version, however minecraft F3 screen says it's 1.8.0_25 64 bit
