Vines generate beneath jungle at y-level 64

in fact, it's y-level 63 but that doesn't really matter

whoops, you're right! my mistake :/

I had the same issue with vines replacing parts of a jungle temple. One even removed a piece of redstone disabling a trap. In rare cases it might even be able to replace a chest, but that has yet to be verified.
