Cactus cannot smelt

When I heard of the new snapshot I went in to try it out and the first feature I try out is the Furnace recipe book. I try out various smelting recipes and I come across Cactus and I try it out and I notice it doesn't automatically go into the furnace. So I try to smelt it and it doesn't work. This makes Cactus Green unattainable along with Cyan Dye and Lime Dye.
