Trapped Chest Visual Glitch

This glitch happens when you are facing a trapped chest in a certain direction, I think a screenshot would better explain this if you get what I mean.
As you can see the trapped chest appears to disappear but does not when you look back at it.
Was tested on multiplayer server 1.5.1 client 1.5
*APPEARS* To only work on multiplayer.

I know I am using faithful 32x32 texturepack but does work on default.
