Cannot shift-click kelp in eventhough you can smelt it

Usually, when I have some food, I usually just shift-click it in the furnace to smelt it, but in 18w07a, a new item, kelp, with is cookable to dried kelp, I can't shift-click it in, eventhough dragging it in the furnace is fine. This is annoying for a lot of people like me. So please fix it
