[MC-12714] Cannot Connect to Multiplayer Servers

Whenever I attempt to log in to a multiplayer server, Minecraft returns a Java error stating, "Failed to login: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
http://session.minecraft.net/game/joinserver.jsp?user=spam105&sessionI
d=379529477617257896&serverId=4164c7bb41a93c4f988fc9d081d268769
e5effd2", and happens for any server. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Java and Minecraft, but nothing seems to work.

Cannot reproduce. Maybe mojang servers where down when you were trying to log in to the servers?

this has happened to me, a force update will fix this!
if not, I tried.

The Mojang servers were not down. It has been happening for over a month. And I will try a force update even though I don't think that will work. I will try though.

No a force update will not affect it for some reason.
