UNMODDED: USING VANILLA: (similar bug was not found in my searches)
using existing 1.12.2 world and new 18w11a server.jar, runserver :
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_161\bin\java.exe" -server -Xmx3192M -Xms3192M -XX:-UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+ScavengeBeforeFullGC -XX:-UseParallelGC -XX:ParallelGCThreads=2 -jar server.jar nogui
was able to play for 1/2 hour but when I tried to log back in:(please see attached crash report)

Environment
Server 2012: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_161-b12) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.161-b12, mixed mode) using 18w11a server and launcher that allows snapshots. both server and launcher are using their own directory isolated to 18w11a.
Playing multiplayer on nonstandard port to a remote server in the same network. no other players were on and I do not know if they would also cause the server to crash if they were to log in. If you want a repro, I can whitelist a dev so they can test on the server.
