Sprint and W delayed action if you press both at the same instant

On 18w11a and 18w14a, if you press the sprint key and the forward key (Ctrl and W) at the same instant, nothing happens for a second or so. Sometimes (maybe the older snapshot?) it won't work at all, no matter how long you wait. It works fine if you press either Ctrl or W first, the issue only surfaces when both are pressed at the same instant.
