I've tried creating multiple new worlds each with different seeds. Every time I've failed to find any of the other variants of oceans other that "Ocean" and "Deep Ocean" biomes. It seems to affect every world created in the snapshot.
Note that in prior versions warmer variants of oceans weren't as hard to find as they are as of 18w15a. I don't know if this issue is only affecting me for some reason or if it persists with others.
Edit: I've added two photos that show what all the ocean biomes look like, as seen, there is no variation at all. No warm or frozen variants can be seen throughout the world. (Sand doesn't generate on the seabed, nor do reefs or icebergs).

I'm not wanting to know how to find mushroom biomes, I'm saying that there are issues with the different ocean biomes not spawning in, and every part of ocean is the same biome. With no variation at all.
Thanks for your help anyways.
Don't you understand what I said?! I gave you instruction how to find Icebergs a.k.a. Frozen ocean! Take it! Now you understood?! same seed as at previous ss

Forgot to mention: for a better understanding of this issue, head on to MC-128340
Hmm...I may have been wrong. I've been able to find warm, warm deep, lukewarm, and lukewarm deep, which I couldn't in the last patch (MC-128340), but I still can't find any cold or frozen oceans. Just plain and plain deep oceans. I did find frozen rivers, ice plains, cold mountains, and cold beaches, but next to them were just plain oceans and plain deep oceans, no frozen oceans or icebergs. So it looks like the warm half of this bug was fixed? But the cold half is still broken?

ice plains spikes: -5012 89 4786
frozen river/ice plains/cold beach: -4785 87 4749
As of 18W16a, the frequency of ocean biomes is fixed. Both warm and frozen are generating with the same frequency and the distribution make them rarer then their moderate counter parts, but still quite frequent in the grand scheme of things. If you find a cold or lukewarm biome, try to check at the center of it, there are chances it will be an extreme biome.

Is it intended that cold beach is directly next to lukewarm ocean?

I would really appreciate if oceans made more sense. There is no ice to be found near any lukewarm ocean et vice versa.
Right now I find more lukewarm ocean then cold/frozen ocean near coldbeaches and other cold/snowy biomes. e.g. it is more likely for a weird combination to happen then it is to find a normal combination. Feels like the good old days you had ice plains next to a desert.
last attachment surely makes no sense, a coral reef and full lukewarm/warm ocean surounded by cold beach/iceplains????

Thanks! I managed to finally find a frozen, frozen deep, cold, and cold deep ocean in that seed (xyz: 2225 72 97). I'm guessing there are still supposed to be plain oceans and plain deep oceans then? I thought the plain ocean types were being replaced by the temperature versions?

They are just very rare. Got this seed and coords (at the left of guardians temple [at the screen temple will be behind you)
