How to recreate:
make a 1.5 tick pulse generator then put two consecutive comparators then attach to torch tower with piston on top
It works with two comparators only when separated with redstone dust as seen in the provided video

That is a different issue this is that comparators change a 1.5 pulse to a 1 tick pulse when consecutively placed not repeaters getting glitched out. Different issue.
