The game crashes on start up, it doesn't leave a crash log but I can copy stuff from the two info windows from the old launcher. I should note I also have a seperate profile/folder set up for running the snapshots.

It happens to me no matter how much memory i add to it... Just hit play on the launcher... Mojang screen shows up and crashes.
Same as the person above Enabling it to use 1 gig still lead to a crash at/after the Mojang screen. And I was unable to go up to 2 GB
me as well.
I could play snapshot version 18w16a but from next version i could not...
my windows version is windows7 32bit.
memory is 4GB.
CPU is intel core2 quad.
Maybe the game has too less memory. In the startup
-Xmx512Mcan be seen.Please increase the memory to 1 or even 2 GB and retry.
