Duplication glitch for minecraft 1.4.7, 1.5, and 1.5.1
What I expected to happen was...:
After the game reloaded, there would be no items there.
What actually happened was...:
After the game loaded, there was another stack if items between the red stone torches.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put down 4 Red stone torches, leaving 4 blocks in the middle.
2. Place the items you want to duplicate in the middle, between the red stone torches.
3.Then do things to make the game auto-save (chop down trees, craft, ext.)
4. After the game auto-saved, then grab your items, then leave the game.
5. When you log back in, the items will be in your inventory, and between the red stone torches, making it doubled.

Fake.
No, this is a well-known issue. It has nothing to do with the redstone torches. If you drop items on the ground, press esc, go back into the game and collect the items, and then Alt+F4/Cmd+Q to quit out of Minecraft, the items will be both on the ground and in your inventory.
