water misinterpreted on maps

The map shows sand, grass and etc. where there is clearly water. For instance even though here's a small island, the map shows it as a peninsula.

I suppose that this bug relates to the lighting issues causing grass to grow underwater as well.

(the tall grass is now shown with the same colour as the grass block, but I'm not sure if that's not intentional)
