[MC-130194] Unable to combine items with enchanted book on anvil.

Fails to add compatible enchantments to items from enchanted books using anvil.

Tested in creative and survival (snapshot 18w21a). Have not exhaustively tested all possible combinations.

I think the bug is not caused by the anvil itself! Enchantments in general are broken.

Try this command:

/give @s minecraft:trident{Damage:0,ench:[{id:68,lvl:1}]} 1

It gives you a normal, unenchanted trident. (My command may be incorrect, please tell me if so)
