The red shield with a black creeper charge, unbreaking 32767, and mending in 1.12.2 turns into an orange shield, white creeper charge, and no enchantments in 1.13. Some NBT data, but not all NBT is removed, for example, names, enchantments, but not lores or items in shulker boxes, but the toolbar does lose some items, but not all of them. This is a weird glitch.
