Sounds do not sound like they originate from the position they should be. For example, if a zombie is on a bearing of 010º from the player, its sounds seem to come from a bearing of 050º. Sounds which should be just slightly to the left or right are skewed out to the far left or right respectively. As far as I can tell, the distance the sound is coming from seems correct.
This issue emerged when the snapshots for 1.13 started coming out and has remained since.
