The update requires me to nudge my scrollwheel 10 times to move across one hotbar slot. This bug is not present in any other released version of Minecraft.

You can fiddle around with the mouseWheelSensitivity in the options.txt.

Scrolling speed was recently added as an option. You can change that to increase/decrease the distance to scroll one slot.
