I don't know how this happened, I was swimming(the new animation) in the water and when I tried to get out of the water, I touched the land and started swimming on land, I couldn't even jump over a block. I fixed the issue by killing steve (me)....I have some proof

I can confirm this... If playing on a server you can just log out and back in and it fixes the character back to standing mode.
