when playing hardcore minecraft 1.13pre5 i came across this very strange bug in which sounds which should be too far away to hear are being played mere blocks away from the player. I have not tested this in other gamemodes.

Can you be more specific about this issue? Is there a certain set of sound ranges that play at a unusual volume compared to others?
