When I play minecraft singleplayer and multiplayer sometimes my screen flashes from black to white and minecraft. It only happens in minecraft so it's not my computer. This has happened to my friends as well. I can only see mobs and entities when this happens but no blocks.

Yep, got this issue too. Thought it was only me, really annoying, started happening with 1.5.2
it happened to me in only 1.5.1 but when I got optifine mod it stopped happening. Now it's all fine. But I'm not getting 1.5.2 because then I'd have too get kovacic's mod pack for that version. Sadly with 1.5.1 i cant connect to 1.5.2 servers
