When i start minecraft so any times sound don´t work, i close game and start against to solve.
Maybe you can try forcing a crash by pressing F3 + C 10 seconds, and attaching the crash report:
.minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt. So that we can better know what's your problem.
