It is very annoying that i need to stop in my tracks to change my hotbar item with the scroll wheel

What button were you pressing that didn't allow you to scroll? Or does this happen with all buttons? Also, what operating system do you use?

the one that was the most annoying is when i used shift. i also use macOS
