Got into a boat, can't use left shift to leave boat.  no option in controls for leave boat key

Set the key for it then? It is bound to whatever Sneak is.

sneak is set at left shift, sneaking works fine.  still can't get out of boat.  dismount works on untamed horses

 

there is no option for Dismount in the keyboard controls window.

Dismount works just fine on a horse
