Put the summary of the bug you're having here: In my world, on two of the levels of the minecart elevator, certain blocks keep disappearing. Specifically, the wool in the desert level and the wood planks, torch, and fences in the mineshaft level. Each one of the pictures that I attached shows either what it looks like with the bug (note that there may be more or less of the blocks missing, but that it's always in that spot) or what it looks like without the bug. Note that because both levels are enclosed, a lighting strike isn't a possibility.

Are you sure there isn't anything nearby that might start a fire?

Matthew, there is no way that a fire could destroy these blocks. Both levels are enclosed, so a lighting strike can't get through. Also, below the mineshaft level is the nether level which contains lava to light it, but the floor in the mineshaft level is non flammable, so a fire can't be the reason.
