Whilst fishing in a boat, when reeling in a catch, the "caught" item flies a good 5-10 blocks above you and past your location, and item is not put in inventory.

Tried to re-create the situation on purpose but I can't seem to find whats causing it Its very inconsistent
Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.13.2, or the latest snapshot 18w49a) of Minecraft?
