Sometimes pressing W and CTRL at the exact same time freezes or delays forward movement

Sometimes when pressing W to walk and control to sprint at the exact same time you can't move at all forward until you let up on all the keys and sometimes it is really delayed (like two seconds) before you start moving forward. In real gameplay, it freezes the forward movement more often than the delay.
