[MC-134809] Simultaneous JAVA 6 + MINECRAFT 1.13 Crashes

Upon clicking on Minecraft Launcher "Play", simultaneously get two errors: 1. Java quits unexpectedly and 2. Minecraft "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience." Then, I see the "GAME ALREADY RUNNING" PopUp. Press "start anyway" and the crashes restart. Am not getting anywhere. Thanks.

Starting from Minecraft 1.12, Java 8 will be required to run Minecraft. If you don't know whether you have Java 8, don't worry - our installers supply Minecraft with its own version of Java by default.

and also important:

Minecraft will not run on a toaster (despite some actually using Java)

Thank you for your fast feedback and help. Minecraft was working on it without a problem until 2 weeks ago. Installed Java 8 without a prob. and getting the same errors....other troubleshooting ideas? Mac is 2009 = Toaster?
