#Minecraft groups in custom crafting

So I was making a custom crafting recipe for a skyblock map so you can take 9 saplings for a block of dirt. Also I used #saplings for any saplings when I did that I did /reload to reload datapacks and it said there was a unexpected error (or something like that) and then minecaft crashed. And now whenever I open the world the game crashes but then I removed the recipe and that fixed it. P.S Can you please fix this and also add NVT data for custom crafting also add customized back in with the perks of buffet.

Looks like MC-132705. Can you attach the data pack here?

Does a zip of the data pack work?

Also now that i'm thinking of it because nbt data doesn't work probably the #groups doesn't work but yeah it shouldn't crash just not work

"ingredients": [
        {
            "item": "#minecraft:saplings"
        }, ...

Instead of item, you can use tag. This should fix your issue.

However, this is a duplicate of MC-132705.
