1.13 keeps crashing right away after I open the game

Okay, I am currently trying to open up 1.13, the newest and updated release of Minecraft, so I can get on realms and play with friends.

The problem is, that after I click the "Play" button, my game crashes afterwards a few seconds later, it doesn't even go past the Mojang logo screen. 

It's only 1.13 for me, not any other versions.

After it crashes, it always gives me this message:

"The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Initializing game"

Really hope I did this correctly and I was specific, I'm hopeful for a response sometime soon, if I did anything wrong or is there something you need to know anymore of, I'd be happy to provide what I can.
