Mobs and other entities lag severely when render distance is anything above 10. When set to 9 everything runs perfectly. Yet at 10 they lag. Even at 32 the lag is exactly the same as 10. It is primarily noticeable in mobs but the bow is also affected. When drawing the bow back, it appears fully charged but when released it fires an arrow at less than full draw. Please note: this is not a duplicate of MC-69655. I say that because it is directly related to render distance not just the version of minecraft.

I'll include a screenshot for system info, but I meet or exceed minimum system requirements. though I don't think this is related to hardware. My cpu is only at 50% load when this occurs. Also, frame rate does not drop whatsoever. Nothing is indicating this should be happening but it is.

As seen in the screenshots the integrated server ping jumps dramatically with render distance being changed from 9 to 10. Yet at 32 the ping is almost identical to 10. Please note: I'm on single player, if that wasn't obvious.

Evidently this is also related to DoMobSpawning. Disabling causes tick speed to return to normal. The attached screenshots are with DoMobSpawning set to true. Render distance is also a factor though. I know the code for spawning is directly related to render distance, but should changing it by a factor of 1 really cause the same lag as 23?

Is this still an issue for you in 1.13.1?

Yep. See new screenshots.
