I was playing in survival mode at a desert village when I saw a villager standing still and spinning around super fast. When I tried to trade with the villager, it didn't open the trading menu. I tried to attack the villager, but that wouldn't work either. I was able to walk through the villager like it wasn't even there. Later, I saw more spinning villagers as well as a spinning rabbit.
