How to recreate:
Open 18w31a, install the German keyboard layout on your Windows 10 Laptop. Then type:
/summon tnt ~ ~ ~ {unsta
(You can tab-complete when typing "tnt")
At the moment you type the "a" key, everything gets deleted and only "a" remains
And also there are many problems with auto-completion
