So the bug is, really simple, I am using the command
/execute at @p[x=100,y=256,z=1000] run give @p dirt
and goes to (1143,104,1101) and get a dirt, this had to not work because I am in the wrong place.

You also need to specify distance or dx, dy, and dz.
