In Creative, Elytra disappears.

In Creative mode if you are wearing an elytra, then after about 5 minuets it disappears from your back. This is very annoying as I enjoy flying with it in Creative mode.

durability most likely wears down. give yourself an unbreakable elytra with

/give @s elytra 1 0 {Unbreakable:1b}
