The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: ddj: Unable to fit: minecraft:block/lava_flow - size: 32x32 - Maybe try a lowerresolution resourcepack?

Whenever I try to open up the game, it crashes before the initialization can finish, and it keeps telling me that I 'need to use a smaller resource pack', even though I have no resource packs installed. I've tried loading 1.12.2 and 1.13.1 and both have given me the same crash report. I thought it was my mods at first due to Thaumcraft, but after I removed all my mods, it got stuck on the lavaflow 32x32 textures. I've uninstalled and reinstalled .minecraft twice already, and my drivers should be all up to date. Also, my personal mod pack was working 100% fine yesterday and the two weeks before, and this issue has only shown up today. I would appreciate it very much if someone could take the time to help me, I've tried most everything I could think of.

This is the Crash Report from trying to boot up vanilla 1.13.1.

I just updated to the latest possible Java and my drivers are up to date. I've reinstalled minecraft twice and I get the same report. What do I do?

Your PC specs are below the minimum requirements.

I’ve been playing on this laptop ever since I first bought it, and I have never gotten below 45-50 FPS. Even though it’s out of date, it’s never been a problem as far as Minecraft goes. Was there some sort of minimum spec requirement put in recently or something?

I have this exact same problem, with no texture packs at all. I've always played on this computer for so long, with almost no problems, except this. My computer definitely meets minimum requirements so it has to be something else. I've also tried  fully reinstalling and trying different directories, which didn't work. The stranger thing is, this issue has come and gone before, only lasting a day before it went back to normal and I could play. But I'm researching it more now because it's the 2nd day this time and the issue is still here. I know this report is getting slightly old but if I made a bug report it would be flagged as a duplicate to this or another similar issue.

I have the same problem now, in March. Did you manage to solve it?
