java.lang.NullPointerException: Ticking block entity

While this is a spigot server, the stack trace contains nothing but minecraft classes (except for the HashMap class). This issue occurs not only with furnaces as the block but some have been on hoppers, and one was justΒ  Description: Exception ticking world

So if I'd redacted the last few lines, this would've been valid? Stack traces don't lie

That's Spigot not Minecraft. Even if it was a Minecraft crash, it would still be invalid. Make a bug report here.

Spigot makes a lot of changes to a ton of other things, and this crash is in an area that almost certainly is modified by them. And it's clear from other parts of it that it's not a vanilla report, so just having snipped out that bit wouldn't have tricked us.

The spigot team has a bug tracker over here; you can use that. Alternatively, if you can actually reproduce this issue in vanilla, let us know.
