By riding a horse to water and trying to mount and unmount it a few times causes this strange "actions not registered properly" bug:
if you break something it doesn't update any blocks around, if you try to place something it just disappears and fixes the bugged block it should have replaced. This also causes the player to be sitting on nothing.
