[MC-137344] Beacon lights up, but will not accept ingot/gem

I have constructed a beacon underground with sky access for the beam. The beacon lights up and shows the beam, but when I open the beacon interface, all options are grayed out. Placing an ingot/gem in the beacon makes no difference.

It's working for me using the same layout. Mine are built on flat ground at y=62 or higher though.

Are you sure the feather or pick-axe in primary power can't be clicked?

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.

You can ignore this, I think it was just a little quirk with the server I was playing on. I restarted the server, and the issue is gone. I have not had an issue since then. Sorry I didn't check this again earlier.
