I recently updated my computer (running Linux Mint 18.1 on amd64) and I can no longer play Minecraft 1.13 and 1.13.1. This is the error I get in the launcher: (2.1.1431)

i just have this exact problem too, since i switched to MX Linux 18.3
OpenGL version string: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 418.74
Nvidia Driver is from the MX Test Repo.... unfortunaly the stable debian repo just provides 390 which is too outdated for proper Wine use so i didnt tested it, i really hope there is a workaround for this
