The bug
We built a waterslide for fish, but then when they drop down, some float back up against the the block under the slide.
How to reproduce
Build the waterslide as seen in screenshots, make sure there's water below.
Spam click with a bucket of fish.
Wait untill some of the fish falls down.
→ ❌ Some fish will float back up under the block of the waterslide.

Your client is modded. Can you reproduce this with an unmodified environment (vanilla client and server)?
I have reproduced in a vanilla client on your request. I've also added more screenshots up the top there. I'm also doing this in a Minecraft Realms server with other friends who have witnessed the bug. By the way, it only happens to salmon, tropical fish. It doesn't happen to turtles or dolphins since they just drop normally to the water.
are the fish being teleportet/glitched through the stone block? Why are they under the stoneblocks appearing with the "on land" animation? Are they flying/floating up from the water and being catched by your stone strucktre? Sry for not understanding, but I cant wrap my head around those pictures :/
