Dear Minecraft,
I have created a normal world, in creative mode with structures on. and it does not work to become hungry. I have tried to break blocks, fight the mosters, give myself a hunger effect through commands, and be beaten by a husk. I hope I have clearly described it.

Are you in survival mode when you try to lose hunger? Is your difficulty set to 'peaceful' mode?
